This is my first pregnancy and I’m reading ALOT from google…. According to google there are a lot of things I should not consume during this time. My family looks and talks to me like I’m crazy. Can someone please help me by telling me what I can and cannot consume or use while pregnant? I’m in my first trimester. I don’t want to worry myself.

Just curious but what are some of your pregnancy cravings and did they change during different trimesters!? Mine are: cheeseburgers, Lee’s food, cereal, peaches, apples, oranges, and milk duds 🤣

Mine are Steak, cheese (especially sharp cheddar and blue cheese), watermelon , cheeze it’s , and popsicles. My mom told me that when we are pregnant our bodies crave what we didn’t have enough of before we became pregnant.

This second pregnancy, I want to try to breastfeed. Are there any tips on what is needed and advice on what to expect? I'm only 17 weeks, so I have a way to go still.

Make sure you get with a lactation consultant while you’re at the hospital. They help with latching and figuring out what is going to be the best position for both you and baby. With my first they were super helpful, we just couldn’t figure it out. I saw them again with baby two and we made it to 8 months. I saw them in the hospital and I got a free consult after discharge and that was a great thing since we struggled once we got home but we figured it out

I got dumb question. Can they turn off your pitocin during an induction if things get intense especially before epidural... im curious on what to expect during induction considering im going in for one next week. I tried to avoid it as much as I can but we are after our due date and my body is tired n sore.

I believe there is something they can do, but I've never had an issue with the pitocin so I'm not sure if they just turn it off or if they have to turn it off and counter it with something else. I am pretty sure they can do something though. I'd recommend since you are getting the epidural you get the epidural before they induce you and break your water, it'll save a lot of pressure and extra uncomfortable pain or pressure you may experience.

good!! You're pretty prepared, and no one is 100% completely compared for labor and delivery since every delivery is different in experience, but you're very close 🥰🥰🥰. You're going to do great ❤️❤️

Things people don’t talk about during pregnancy 1)feeling alone 2)anxiety always worried if your baby is okay 3)many sleepless nights 4)not feeling fully supported during pregnancy 5)no one to relate to during your pregnancy 6)needing company and friends to uplift you

Isn’t it a normal weight? She’s supposed to be approximately 500 grams (17oz) in your 28th week. Or did the doctor said there’s something wrong? Either way, just eat normally and consistently throughout the day. If you’re craving something don’t hold yourself back

What are necessary amount of things so you need for the first 6 months of having a newborn? Need necessary things to buy. Onesies, bottles, diapers. Help! Don't wanna buy to many or too little

Aside from onesies, bottles, and diapers, my diaper bag has been a lifesaver. Traveling is super easy and even a backpack can make for a cheap, good substitute. You'll want a bassinet so the baby can sleep right next to your bed! You'll want wipes too, don't forget those. And you can't leave the hospital without a car seat. That's all I can really think of that I needed when O had my boy.

Oh! My bad XD. I couldn't say for sure with diapers since it tends to depend on the baby and how fast they grow. My boy was only in N diapers for 2 weeks. For bottles, I had about 8? And I'd have them on rotation. 4 ready for use and 4 needing to be cleaned/sterilized. You can never have too many onesies, but it again depends on how fast your baby grows. Mine wasn't in newborn's for long but was in 0-3 for a long time. So, don't get a ton of newborns or they won't all get worn.

Are you supposed to change prenatals per trimester? I know your body needs different things during each trimester, but did any of yall change or switch up prenatals per trimester? Does it really matter or is there a prenatal that's good for all trimesters?
