So I scored 143 on my 1 hour glucose test so I just barley failed and I’m worried that the doctor will want me to do the 3 hour test because of how bad the 1 hour made me feel. What should I do? I really don’t want to do a 3 hour test.

A fail is a fail unfortunately and they’ll want you to take the three hour. But you could also request to test your sugars at home for like 2 weeks. It’s what I did. I skipped the three hour since I couldn’t make the time for it. I also didn’t feel great with the first one either.

The blood test? I believe it's around 99% accurate and then the ultrasound you get later in pregnancy confirms it

How would I know if I miscarried? Went to the ER but their test show that I'm currently pregnant. I took an at home pregnancy test and it's a positive.. but I'm bleeding heavily.. Monday I have a Dr appointment so I can recheck my HCG levels .

Did they do an ultrasound? If you’re experiencing bleeding they suppose to do an ultrasound especially if you’re testing positive still..

yes they did an ultrasound and from their test they couldn't see anything in the ultrasound but their HCG test shows I'm currently pregnant so they couldn't confirm if I was having a miscarriage. My HCG level was at 579 which she told me that means I'm 4-5 weeks pregnant.. but from my calculations I had my last period in October... Which should put me about 7weeks

If they didn’t see anything in ultrasound that usually isn’t a good sign. Pregnancy test is not enough to determine miscarriage. Because even after complete miscarriage, you can still have hCG in your urine for a little bit. They are supposed to look for heartbeat during ultrasound. I would have your hcG levels watched closely. And stay in bed rest until you can get an answer.

Would It make sense to just go to the doctor and have them do a blood test? Wouldn’t that be able to pick up on pregnancy better or sooner than a home test?

If you get a blood test make sure you get a quantitative not qualitative. Qualitative you have to be at a certain level of hcg for it to be positive or negative. But quantitative will tell you the number of how much hcg is in your blood!

I'm pregnant we all know I am but I still haven't gotten a home test and I gotta retest for my blood test . How long do it take to get a accurate test 😩 this is so confusing. My Mom said she was pregnant didn't find out till she was 5 months pregnant. She said she was having periods and never gotten a home positive test #test #any issues ?

I’m confused how it came back not pregnant when you have such clear positives. Like they’re not faint at all. Did you get a blood test? Is that what results came back?

Yes they told me to wait a couple weeks because that hcg has to rise up most likely you went into the doctor too early exact thing happened to me after 4 positive home tests but the second one from the doctor came back positive once I waited two weeks
