Ladies epidural or no epidural? I am going to try my hardest to not to get it. I've had 3 already and I believe my back is extremely sensitive because of it. Any tips for pain relief?

i’m having another c section after my previous emergency c section. but i can say getting the epidural while in actual labor is the worst thing i’ve ever done my back still hurts from it 22 months later. plus im 36 weeks pregnant 🤦🏽‍♀️ they do have the breathing gas you can try, hot baths in the hospital during contractions help ease the pain, ofc they have IV meds they can give you to help with pain… learning how to ease your body and breath will help

what state you in cause alabama didn't have none of that with my 3 year old. Or they just didn't offer it to me. I'm definitely going ask for something. And get a yoga ball this time.

when I have my first miscarriage I had a fibroid that was a half a pound that compromised the pregnancy and they had to perform a partial cesarean to remove the fibroid so because of that surgery I have to have cesarean

I already know I’m going to have to adhere to yet another cesarean, but I hope they offer the pain pump this go round, it helped so much last time & you’re not being pumped with narcotics… Will def be asking at my appointment this week.

That’s amazing, congratulations 🎉, that’s big… I wish I had been approved, but they feel it’s safer for baby & I , I had my last cesarean June 2020 , but hadn’t had one before than since 2008 & 2009

I had natural with my 3rd but was forced 1 day later to have epidural not because of pain but because I was stuck at 7 and not dilating

😩These last two days have been full of headaches. I’m 11 weeks along and scared to take pain meds since all these advertisements about effects pain meds as simple as Tylenol may have on a developing fetus. Any suggestions on what to take for fast relief?

Is this true.....they schedule me 8-9 hours days and my feet hurt so much all the time. What can I do to help with the pain, even if it's just a little bit of relief?

From the time I found out I was 9 weeks pregnant I've had really bad lower back pain. Its been 3 days and im not getting any relief. Sitting up in a chair is torture. What should I do? Today I took pain meds. Im trying not to rely on meds.

U can try stretching. There's a lot of YouTube videos on prenatal stretches that's safe and helpful in relieving back pain

Sounds totally normal to me! I was the same way I kept complaining to my husband saying why am I still in pain why cant I do the stuff I usually could do! I expected to bounce back right after my first baby but no I'm about 3 weeks PP and I still feel exhausted and pain in certain areas! Depending on the kind of pain your talking about 3 or 4 days PP after vaginal birth sounds pretty normal to me!!
