My best friend took the depo shot every 3 months at the health department and she went in one day and found out she was pregnant then got set up with a ongyn and she was 5 months pregnant

So i am currently 16 weeks pregnant. I've been told I was having a boy then just two days ago I was told it's a girl. I don't know what to do nor do I know how to feel. What would you moms do if I was you?

Do you really know who you are? Honestly, I am still finding myself and my baby will definitely help me. How am I going to tell him to know who he is if I dont know myself? So, I'm wanting to learn more about myself.

I think I lost a lot of myself during my last relationship. I became wishy washy. When I should have been matter fact. I'm a cancer so nurturing and caring for someone too much is my nature. What are some opinions on smoking weed while pregnant? I’d like to know. I was told my my OBGYN that if it helps with hip pain or sickness it’s okay to smoke on occasion. I wanna know what you ladies think beings were all pregnant.

Pre pregnancy I was a regular smoker but decided to stop and I will continue to not smoke while breastfeeding. I know others who have smoked thru their whole pregnancy. I personally feel it's not worth it, but to each their own!

Mee!! Im at 32 weeks and when i first found out I was pregnant was terrified of them not finding a heart beat. I didnt get to go to the doctor when i first found out due to insurance so i had my first ultrasound at 15 weeks and she was doing just fine! I believe in u mama, just gotta stay positive. ❤️ dont stress too much.

I’m really not understanding how some women feel comfortable begging for handouts on here. How are you even trying to get pregnant if you can barely take care of yourself?! Do you really think that’s safe and healthy for self or unborn child?! No shade to the women who are out here trying to help themselves but to expect somebody you don’t even know to get this or that or take care of you and yours is beyond me

why not wait till you have money again to just buy the items normally this time, there are discount stores and if you have insurance you can try and get baby items for free like a car seat breast pump.
Also try to never pay someone without receiving items it's not smarr.
How is your partner helping? maybe try to do some side hustles like food delivery you dont even need a car I'm signed up with scooter and there's a bike choice if I ever need to make quick extra cash that day.
Im sorry you were scammed but if your not making ends meet there is a lot of programs from your state that can help you before anyone on here is going to. Go start a go fund me I have seen girls do that and put it on social media with people that actually know them maybe that would help you more next time.
I hope you get your baby items that you need. You have A LOT of time left tho to save your OWN money for baby items so I wouldn't stress it

Anyone know if anesthesia is safe while pregnant? Like if you needed a surgery could you be put under or would they have to push it back or are there other alternatives?

I think it depends on the urgency of the surgery. I needed surgery while pregnant, and my dr decided to wait until after my baby was born, but I have heard of people having surgery while pregnant if the surgery is unable to wait

Depending on what kind of surgery if it's mouth they will give you lidocaine and keep you awake anything else it will be a low dose of anesthetic.
