Brown discharge instead of period could i be pregnant and should I take a pregnancy test ?

Hello ladies, I’m 7 weeks and 5 days today and experiencing some light brown discharge , it’s worrying me that something bad could be happening and need answers . This is my first pregnancy and I’m scared something is wrong

2 weeks with brown discharge What could be the cause? No sign of AF yet and negative tests. Don't have other symptoms

Can anyone tell me why my period only lasted for a day? I had some light bleeding for a day then the next day it was like a light brown color and now there is no blood and no brown.
