When to register your pregnancy?

When you are sure that you are pregnant and you have had tests to confirm it, you must declare your pregnancy.

It is very important that you do this before the end of the 15th week of amenorrhea so that you can benefit from the appropriate medical follow-up. Do it as soon as possible!

  • There is no real advantage to delaying the declaration.
  • By doing it quickly, your prenatal exams are reimbursed.
  • You only have to notify your employer when you go on maternity leave, but you can notify him/her beforehand in order to benefit from an adjustment of your working hours.

My job and my hormones really have me at my wits end today. So they had moved me to the register that way I could sit while at work. Today they just up and take me off of it and have me cleaning tables, filling sanitation buckets, distributing silverware, and refilling stuff in preparation for the big people. Which means I will walk in circles all day. They told me I could sit down anytime I want but with all of that to do where is the time?! Then my boss walks up to me with some book about pregnancy as if that was supposed to be some sort of gift. Meanwhile, another coworker is just chilling on the register not having to lift a finger all because she doesn’t WANT to! Outrageous. So I’m currently hiding in the bathroom which I will do as many times as I freaking want to today bc at this point, I’m so annoyed! Send good vibes as I continue to waddle in circles for 6 more hours. Hope y’all ladies are having a great day!

It ended up being so busy there weren’t any seats for workers to even take breaks. I work at a university so there were thousands of kids. I called out today tho forget them 🤣

Does anyone have any baby registry suggestions? This is my first baby, I’m more than half way through with my pregnancy and I am not sure what to get and what to add on to a registry if even a good place to register with.

Amazon and Target are great. Some suggestions are: Pampers(of course) wipes, wipe warmer, bottle warmer, breast pump, breast pads(if you’re breastfeeding) baby carrier, humidifier, diaper genie, bottles, bottle rack, bottle cleaner, portable bassinet, pacifier holder, onesies, socks, sleepers, swing, bouncer, etc. I could go on and on. Lol

1 and 2- Around the beginning of the Third trimester 3. You can create a registry right now if u wanted, they take a lot of research and it’s good to get a head start

I've got a few registries going and am so overwhelmed in that department. 😂 I feel like I may go Amazon because that's where most people are, but Babylist offers the ability to add items from anywhere to the registry. The only problem is, when I see it on Amazon (or anywhere else), it's such a hassle to go back into Babylist to add it there. I'm not sure if there's a better, more efficient way to do it. I've transfered my Amazon registry items over before (it has that function), but when I added new items to the Amazon registry, I couldn't remember what I had previously transferred and what was outstanding. 😂

Just dealt with the rudest cashier ever at Walmart. Mind you im 5 months pregnant she never greeted me rolled her eyes when I came to her register I only had like 10 items I was doing WIC and she was acting like I was complete scum. For some reason her register wasn't taking it and she tried to tell me there was nothing on the card but I know that I had not used any of my benefits and had plenty on my card. She was very difficult to work with. To make me put all of my groceries in my basket mind you I had some very heavy items. She yelled at an employee in front of me and sent me over to the employee for help the other employee checked me out in less than a minute. My heart was beating so fast and I was getting angry because I could just feel her negative energy.

Apparently I waited too late to sign up because I signed up at 28 weeks and by that time..I signed up for one at 36 weeks because that was the only one left before my due date. So I recommend sooner rather than later.
