Registration of the pregnancy at the CPAM

In order to receive the best possible support during your pregnancy, send your registration to the CPAM as soon as possible.

Following your first prenatal examination, you have until the end of the 14th week of pregnancy to register:

  • Either by paper with the 3-part "1st prenatal examination" form provided by your doctor.
  • Or directly by your doctor or your midwife on the professional Ameli website. In a few clicks, the declaration is sent to the CAF and the CPAM.

Has anyone ever been pregnant with a baby that has CCAM/CPAM...(cysts found in one or both lungs) found out at ultrasound yesterday our daughter (23weeks) has them in her right lung, having ultrasounds every 2 weeks to track growth now, if they get bigger could cause congestive heart failure, praying they dont...possibility of her needing surgery or breathing machine once born if they dont just go away😩😩 all the doctors are saying they've never seen it due to how rare it is...I'm just trying to see if anyone had good outcomes from this....it's our first daughter we have 2 healthy boys no issues ever

Today I am 20wks + 6 days. I went tot he doctor this morning for my 20 weeks anatomy scan and they said everything was normal until they checked baby boys lungs. He has a lesion on one of his lungs, which they call in scientific terms Congenital Pulmonary Airway Malformation (CPAM). And so depending on how bad it truly is he could need surgery when he’s 6 months at the latest. But like I said depending on the severity the lesion on his lung they say he probably won’t need surgery until then. So every week I have to go back for an ultrasound to to monitor the severity of it. They said it’s a rare condition that only happens in 1 to 25,000 pregnancies and mostly in male fetuses. I hope it doesn’t grow and worsen. This hurt my heart so much to hear this news today and I’ve been down in the dumps and blaming myself since. Please send prayers for boy boy and my family. We are going through a lot right now and need prayers. Thank you in advance.
