Phases of menstrual cycle
If you want to conceive a baby, it is important to know your menstrual cycle to put all the chances on your side! The menstrual cycle is broken down as follows:
- The first day of your period is also the first day of the cycle.
- Your period lasts between 3 and 7 days.
- Then begins the pre-ovulation phase until ovulation, which takes place on day 14 and lasts 24 hours.
- From day 15 to day 28 is the luteal phase, during which your body will act differently depending on whether your egg has been fertilized or not.

, After delivery I started my first menstrual cycle 6 weeks later which has now been on 4 days .. it usually stays on 5 but don’t seem like it’s ending no time soon 🙄 I’m so mad && wanna get freaky ! Mamas how long did y’all period last ?

Anyone’s menstrual cycle change after birth ? I use to have 3 day periods with no pain, now I’m having the most painful cramps I can barley get sleep nd I’m breastfeeding 😩🫠

My best friend told me after she had my godson that she started getting g the worst periods. Pain to the point of not being able to get out of bed and had to call out of work alot. She said the only thing that helped was getting on birth control, she got the one that goes in the arm

😭😭😩 I can’t get birth control until my blood pressure levels remain normal again , thank you so much I will be waiting for the day I can get prescribed birth control because this pain is too much

I want to know why I'm not having a regular menstrual cycle it started in January between the 6th-8th and came back on January 30-1 of February and now it just come on three days like implantation bleeding and last week it only lasted two day

Had a positive result 1-18 and hcg was 79. According to last menstrual cycle I was 3 weeks 3 days at that time. Will be getting redraw this week. Is that hcg number okay?

Any mamas start their menstrual cycle yet ? Started mine Monday 🥴😮💨😭 this ish is for the birds!! The cramps don’t compare to labor but man, do I feel everything in my lower back again 🥴🥴

Yes I thought I was dying because of the cramps and how heavy it was compared to pre pregnancy periods but I heard it was normal for the first one after birth to be like that

🥴 hate to say it but, I would rather be pregnant again. Tampons & pads aren’t cheap & 9 months of pregnancy was well worth all the rib cage kicks, I’d do it all over again😅

Sorry for asking a stupid question. My menstrual cycle is so irregular that I never have a set date for it. Nor do I usually know when I ovulate because of this. Any tips or tricks from anyone going through the same thing?

I was having this same issue. My OB prescribed me progesterone and clomid to help.

My cycles range from 24-66 days so i used ovulation tests and got pregnant. I was ovulating wayyy before the “14 days”

I'm regular period I usually get my menstrual cycle on the 18th of each month. I usually get bad cramps and I am very mean to my husband beforehand none of that. I am 4 days late should I be taking a pregnancy test or should I wait a couple of more days

Since your late I would say take a test. I got my positive the first day of my missed period so I say go for it!
