Why does the baby cry after his bottle?

For several days, the baby has been crying after each feeding. What are the reasons?

  • Your baby probably drank the bottle too quickly, so hold them close to you while awaiting the burp, which is probably difficult to get through.
  • If the baby cries after eating, and the cries are accompanied by squirming, shrieking cries and their little fists are clenched, then they are prone to colic.
  • Place your baby on your forearm on her stomach and rock her. This can help you soothe your baby.
  • Place a warm hot water bottle on her tummy - the warmth will calm and reassure the baby.
  • If you're worried, ask a health care professional about homeopathic solutions.

This happened before with my now 6 year old. He ended up being allergic to my milk and so I couldn’t eat or drink dairy. I was breastfeeding and I had to change everything to soy. There might be something going on with your breast milk or he might be allergic to the formula I’m not sure which your doing lol. I hope he gets better soon 🥰

Since I’m new to this whole mom thing, Kyia’s doctor told me I can start feeding her baby food when she can roll over… she rolled from back to belly on Friday and she has a couple times this weekend. But I have no idea what to try first… and do I burp her after feeding her baby food like I do after feeding her a bottle? Sometimes she burps on her own but other times she needs help burping.

So I started feeding at 4 months but we decided to wait til she is 6 months instead since she has had this chronic diarrhea going on. With my son we started with peas, carrots first.

When the Pacier no longer works to stop her crying after feeding is usually when u should try to up it. My son refused his pacifiers when he was still hungry. He just spit them out

Hi Moms! My baby will be 6 weeks tomorrow. When is too early to start a feeding routine? Instead of feeding when they seem hungry. I bottle feed because I wasn’t producing enough. My mom keeps telling me I need to get him on a routine but I don’t want to either feed him when he’s not hungry or make him wait if he’s crying hungry. And if on a routine what are you guys schedules with it?

I feed on demand. I don’t think I’ve ever done a feeding schedule with any of my kids. I mean as they’ve gotten olden then we got breakfast lunch dinner and snack routine but that’s not until they’re like 1

I feed on demand, my LO is creating her own loose routine. She eats around the same time everyday give or take. She's 3 months today.

I got a question, maybe some of you mamas can help. My LO is 7 weeks and just recently started breastfeeding. This whole time I have been pumping and feeding with a bottle, no formula. But after he feeds from the breast he spits up, but not when he eats from the bottle. Has this happened to anyone?

Yes! Babies mouths sucking is more effective than a pump. When they're eating off your breast vs a bottle, they are probably also getting more all at once, especially with let down. He might just be getting too much, too quickly

Thank you, I never thought of the let down effecting him. I thought something was wrong. All I kept thinking was it was the same milk it shouldn’t be effecting his stomach.

I’ve been breastfeeding my baby ever since she was 3 days old & She’s going on 2 months and would not accept any type of bottle feeding whatsoever. I introduced it some in the beginning but i guess not long enough because she won’t take suck any bottle. If it’s not my breast , she cries. How did you guys transition your baby from breastfeeding to bottle feeding? It’s to the point that I can’t even leave her with anyone

You could also try the MAM bottles, Como Tomo, or Boon… even Nuk it’s supposed to mimic moms nipples as much as possible. They’re all different types of nipples so I guess whatever is closer to your nipple 🤷🏻‍♀️

My son does that sometimes too, he just wants to be held and rocked or has gas. Your baby could have gas. Try some gripe water or gas drops. They’re safe for baby. I also lay my son across my lap on his stomach and just bounce my legs up and down, not only is that soothing for him but he relaxes and falls asleep. It also gives him some relief because He passes a lot of his gas in that position. He just lets em rip 😩😂😂

My pediatrician told me to feed baby until he acts like he doesn’t want it. My little one is 2 months and eats about 4-6 oz
