Question: I heard it's best to wait until about the 3rd day to give a newborn a bath, but I don't know about it because the 2nd day people are going to come see her and I don't want her all dirty with the birth and after birth. What do you recommend?

Who cares about people! Do what’s best for ur baby! What ever is on his or her baby is the best things! I didn’t allow them to wipe my baby bc that white stuff is the best things for ur baby! I didn’t allow them to wipe it off completely and give the baby a shower! Who cares about people! Ur baby is more important then people coming over and seeing the baby! And I also didn’t allow people to come over right away my husband text everyone and told them to give us some personal time!!

Get a wipe warmer, add in the wipes and just touch her parts slightly with the warm wipes. No fragrance since she’s very fresh and delicate. Very safe and quick.

I decided the 2nd day was the day I wanted people to come because we don't want that many to come to the house so we can have our own space. But I see what you mean

Is anyone going or on birth control after birth? They're going to talk to my about it at my 6 week. I had a bad experience with the depo. I gained 50lbs and now can't get it off. But not sure about the other ones.

I've been on the Depo, Mirena and a pill (can't remember now the pill I was on) Depo was the worst!!! I only received 2 or 3 shots and I swear that is what the devil is made of! My favorite BC has been the Mirena (had it twice)

Non hormonal BC would be your options to not gain weight. The IUD is one of those , I personally have never had it but have seen SOO many videos with red flags. They sell a gel that you apply kinda like tampon form and it lasts you through that session of intercourse. I’ve tried the gel they sell at Walmart and it wasn’t too shabby.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with marginal cord insertion? The doctor says not to worry but after 2 ectopics and a still birth.. and I’m 38… finding out this news is stressful.

Me! My little one has gained weight and I was told it's common and they will just do more ultrasounds to make sure the baby is growing in weight.

Please don't judge me... After I give birth I plan on breastfeeding. But soon after birth and after I stop bleeding I want to try to get pregnant again. But I heard it's harder to conceive when breastfeeding & it could be a form of birth control. Is this true?

Natural birth feels like trying to pass a big 💩. It’s the after birth that’s painful and uncomfortable to me

Still birth happens in 1of260 pregnancies. The chance is 0.01 percent and is rare, i still worry also and i will be 24 weeks tomorrow, but if everything has looked good with you, baby, placenta, cord and all that i think you are in good hands. Just pray 🙏🏼 that everything continues to go good
