My csection is Thursday also! This will be my 3rd. The first emergency was traumatic, the second was scheduled and a much better experience. Wishing you all the best this time!

moms who’ve had a VBAC… After 1 C-section. I need some advice… how did it go for you? Were you afraid? How did you prepare for the VBAC? I had a failed induction which ended in an emergency c section. I really want another c section because I feel safer going with that option. But I’m having conflicting thoughts I really want to experience a natural vaginal birth. But I’m afraid of a uterine rupture. My gut it’s telling me to not risk it just go with the c section *my c section healing process was amazing and I wouldn’t mind doing it again* But I really wanted to do it vaginally this time I don’t know which route to take💔

I’m rambling but it’s been on my mind kind of heavy. I wouldn’t mind a c section but if I could avoid another abdominal surgery it would be nice I’m just afraid of dying while giving birth

I had pre-eclampsia with my first child so I ended up having an emergency c-section at 36 weeks, I very much wanted to have natural child birth but my baby was still healthy, my surgeon/doctor was fantastic but when I had to swap OBs I asked about natural after c-section (now every doctor is different, it all depends on what they believe is the safest route for you and baby) my doctor told me that it was possible, it has been done, BUT based on my specific body frame it wasn't a risk he was willing to take (explained risks) and I went with what was best and in total including when my little girl is born in March I will be undergoing my 5th c-section, all very successful surgeries all healthy babies and I'm not sure if it's just coincidence but recovery time got shorter and shorter after each one so idk 🤷‍♀️ anyway point is its absolutely possible for you to have natural child birth, discuss everything with your doctor before overthinking the risks.

But here’s the thing I wouldn’t mind another c section I liked the process. I just feel so pressured into going natural bc everyone around me is I really feel in my gut that another c section is safer

I was def planning on having a vaginal birth but my baby is being stubborn and still hasn’t flipped 🫤 so I was freaking out at first cause I’m worried I’m gonna be super limited (more so then with vaginal) on what I can do and don’t wanna be 🤣

The Drs have told me to prepare for a possible c section. I was planning on pumping but a friend of mine said you can't pump or breast feed after a c section bc of the medicine they give you. Would love some insight on this ❤️❤️

So I have a planned C-Section scheduled for Thursday and I don’t know how to mentally prepare myself for it. I’m excited but terrified at the same time. This is my second pregnancy and will be my second C-Section. How do I mentally prepare for this? The only people who will be there for me is my husband, his mother and our 4yr old son.

Can you masturbate (external action like clit stimulation) 3wks after cesarean (C-section) ?

I think your soupose to wait 6 weeks cause that will cause you to abdomen to tense automatically without you thinking about it as a response to the stimulation so I'd say no

Recovery is harder than recovery from natural. Hurts os bad to move at all... constant severe pain..do not wash area let water run over it ...dont lift a lot other than baby ...make sure to walk every day they will make you walk after the surgery...massage legs to help swelling... foot bath... drink LOTS of water remember to take care of u...newborn care on top of just having a major surgery is super hard I didn't sleep much for 2 months

If the cut is infected the surrounding skin will be all red ...it'll be tender to touch for a while...mine still heuts and it was almost 4 months ago..they said some pain may last forever because of cutting into you...can cause nerve damage and scar tissue...internal scar issue can harden onto organs and cause much pain I think thats what I have
