I have a question for all of my ladies. How do you know if you water is slowly breaking or if it’s discharge #16weeks #nervous

Leaking amniotic fluid might feel like a gush of warm fluid or a slow trickle from the vagina. It will usually be clear and odorless but may sometimes contain traces of blood or mucus. If the liquid is amniotic fluid, it is unlikely to stop leaking.

It could be one of three things, baby could be pushing on bladder and your not realizing your losing a little urine (which is 100% normal and common), it could be amniotic fluid leaking which is very important that you let your provider know to monitor leakage and baby's health. Discharge is usually thicker than fluid and usually with a faint color. If your unsure you need to have the fluid tested to see.

Amniotic fluid often smells a bit sweet, or like nothing. But discharge shouldn’t have a smell either so that part can be confusing 😅 def talk to your doc either way!

Hey mamas! I just had a 2nd miscarriage yesterday. It happened pretty quick but not so painful like the 1st time. I had brown discharge for a week without any cramps or tummy pain and then it turned red the last 2 days , Sunday night I bled like period and heavy cramps with some clots . I knew I lost my 10 weeks baby. I just wanna share my experience so you mamas don't hesitate to call your doctor if you see brown discharge for 2 days. I wish you mamas and babies all luck. Yo babies better stay healthy and grow fast 🥰 !! I love you guys!

How do you know if you've had a miscarriage or a subchorionic hemorrhage? I have my first appointment tomorrow and everything I'm reading they sound very similar..

After getting your cervix checked did you discharge brown stuff, have horrible cramps and back pain and pressure in your vagina?

I’d keep an eye on it. But yes after getting my cervix checked at 36 weeks for the first time that’s when I started getting small cramp- like sensations , stomach pains . And my baby even felt like she got lower I got checked again today 37 weeks and now I’m getting stomach pains. Sucks but it’s very important to get done 🥲 I’m gonna try and eat less and less grease more healthy and light and water so my stomach and body can stop feeling like crap

I had my first cervix check at 34 weeks and didn’t feel anything after besides light cramping, after this one I feel like her head got even lower and I’ve had pelvic pain all day since having it done, brown discharge and mild cramps plus lower to mid back pain 😭

Do you count “after miscarriage” the day you stop bleeding or the day you pass the baby?

I’ll say both honestly cause the bleeding still comes from the miscarriage
