I went to my Ob today because I had a positive pregnancy test a couple weeks ago. She sent me for blood work to test my HCG level, but I’m wondering what I’m supposed to be looking for on my blood work..like will it say HCG? Or will it say something else? Cause I got my results back but no where says HCG, so I’m not sure what one it is.

My 2nd appointment I’ll be damn near 16 weeks I want to know my gender a soon as possible but ppl tell me it’s pointless to do the blood test for it when u found out at 16-20 weeks anyway is that true ? I can’t wait no longer I so ready to buy my stuff 😭I literally got Carts full of boy and girl stuff just ready to delete what ever gender it isn’t out my cart ! 😩

You can get the NIPT test, which is a blood test, which tests for genetic abnormalities and you find out the gender as well. The earliest you can get that is 9-10 weeks. Takes about a week to get the results. Then you’ll have your full anatomy scan ultrasound right around 20 weeks and they can tell you the gender there as well. But if you want to find out ASAP , then I’d get the NIPT test if I were you. That’s what I did because I’m way too impatient, and I also wanted to make sure baby was healthy when it came to the genetic disorders. And it says you’re at 10 weeks already so you’re far enough along to get the test now!

I’m pretty sure insurance covers it. I didn’t have to pay anything. Call your ob and ask them to write you a script to get the test, I had to go to lab corp for mine.

I'm 5 weeks pregnant today. I just went in and got it confirmed via blood test. My OBGYN told me my pregnancy hormone levels were low and he wants to do another blood test on Friday to check the levels. I'm scared. Should I be worried?

I just did the sneak peak that I ordered off Amazon. It tests for male DNA in your body so if it tests positive for male DNA obviously a boy and if none then a girl but you have to take the blood sample with NO MALES or male pets in the room otherwise it will pick up their male dna possibly. Took maybe 3 business days and I got my results…it’s a girl!!

I have my glucose test tomorrow they gave me for 1 hour glucose test I don't want to drink that nasty drink but I want to know do they poke me once with a blood because it's an hour blood test so is it just one blood test

You don’t have to do it, I choose not to do it with my 2 year. But honestly if you get the orange drink it’s not that bad and they don’t take a lot of blood. Just make sure you keep track of the time in case they don’t because if you go over the hour you’ll have to do it all over again.

Has anyone tried the early gender blood test at 8 weeks or less? I found out it was a boy at 8 weeks and I’m almost 14 weeks now and nervous it could be wrong so I’m trying not to buy to much stuff 😩😩😩😂😂
