does anyone ever had a situation like this? I took about seven pregnancy test at home and five was positive and the other two was negative, I went to a medical facility to confirm the pregnancy and I was told that I am pregnant, today I went to a different hospital to meet with the OB/GYN doctor and they took a blood test to see how far along I was and it came out negative. Any advice I’m confused..

I scheduled an appt with a clinic that does free ultrasounds and pregnancy test just to confirm pregnancy since my first appt isn’t until Jan 22 , so I get to see my lil princess (🤞🏾) today ! I’m super excited cause I do not be feeling pregnant besides me eating a lot which I never did ,always sleep & nipples tenderness off & on .

When I went to my first appointment, I asked if they could confirm my pregnancy and they told me they don’t do that anymore. They asked, did you have a positive home test? And I said yes. They said, well that’s all you need. I’m just wondering if this is normal? This is my first pregnancy and it’s all so surreal, I just wanted to hear “yes you’re pregnant” from a professional I guess lol. My first ultrasound is tomorrow, I’m almost ten weeks, and I’m scared it will have been a false positive or something. Yes, I am a paranoid overthinker!😄

Pretty sure that should be their first step is to verify you are pregnant and then go from there. 🤦🏼♀️ personally I would look for another doctor

Yea they can give you a urine test there at the dr and obviously would be able to confirm with ultrasound

Do you guys get ultrasounds done at every doctor appointment y’all go to or not? Because I’m 27 weeks and only have gotten the first ultrasound to confirm pregnancy and the 20 week anatomy one. And I hate it. One of my friends that’s also pregnant get one done every appointment she goes to so I’m confused

I think it depends on the doctors cause I’m 38.5 weeks pregnant and have only had 3 ultrasounds my whole pregnancy. You can request a bedside ultrasound though!

You get the first one to confirm pregnancy one at 20 weeks and one last one at 34/36 weeks to make sure baby is growing and is head down your friend probably gets more cause she is probably high risk or it just how they do it at that clinic she goes to

I don't get one every appointment, but I've had 5 or 6 ultrasounds. I'm high risk is the only reason. Usually, you should at least get 3.

Ladies 🫶🏼 When can you officially find out the sex of the baby ? Because I switched OBGYN and in Fl your first appointment has to be the confirm your pregnant with a pregnancy test, I have to do that again at my New OBGYN so I still haven’t had a ultra sound yet and I’m 12 weeks pregnant. So I wonder, when I do have that appointment will I find out the sex at that point.

I had a miscarriage on Jan 24th. I had a follow-up appt on Feb 1st to confirm. My Hcg levels were 25. I was given the okay to start trying again and was wondering how soon I should take a pregnancy test? This is my first miscarriage as well

I had my first doctor appointment today and I’m suppose to be 5 weeks and 5 days however she said that I might be 4 weeks due to how small my baby look. Can someone confirm if this normally how it looks at 5 week?

Yes girl looks the same as mine .. due sept 24 ..I’m actually in the same boat with you . I had a sonogram appointment and my doctor said the same thing . But he said based on the sonogram everything looks normal.. we can’t expect a full grown baby within 5 weeks .. I never found out this early so everything is kind of new to me.. I have two other kids both I found out I was pregnant within the 3 month mark.. so hang in there girl .. you got this!!
