Brown period blood at beginning of period why is it brown?

Is it normal to be spotting brown around the time of your missed period? Currently 4 weeks along. Also have been having mild cramps.

Spotten it’s brown an not a lot let’s see if it stops or becomes a period 16dpo today two days late

Well an actual period never came, but I started spotting and it's brown.. maybe period trying to start or implantation? Implantation I hope ..I'm getting so depressed over this..

So my period came the 31 of December and it stop the third of January but I’m spotting a lil but it’s brown

Anybody have spotting for the last week or so? 😩 it’s like a rusty brown color (like the last day of my usual period cycle)
