So I'm going to my mother-in-law this weekend she wants to see the baby. I know it's rsv season and flu season and she always kisses the baby in the face. Any ideas on how I can nicely bring up and tell her not to kiss the baby in the face. My baby is only 2 months old and the father of the child is in prison for 4 years so he isn't much help to tell her not to kiss her in the face.

Set that boundary nicely before hand and if she refuses to respect that boundary don't go. Tell her you need to think about the baby's well being and it would make you much more comfortable for to refrain from kissing it's face. If she is a good grandma she'll respect your wishes

Baby boy starts school on Thursday so I told him this weekend is the last time he’s sleeping in my bed lol he’s so excited for school. & he loves his little sister. His adjustment to her has been seamless. & being a mother of a toddler and newborn isn’t as challenging as I thought I would be.

Awe glad he's excited for school. Amazing big brother. My son and daughter are little over a year and a half apart he is a amazing brother. Now they have a new 1 1/2 month old brother and are amazing. ❤️

I am 19 weeks and have an anatomy scan on the 9 th. I can’t wait to see my baby girl. My husband is excited as this is our 1st child. His mother gave us all his baby stuff from when he was a kid to use for our baby. Now I have everything that she needs and I am still getting stuff from her. We are going to see my husband’s family this weekend and I know that my mother in law has like 29 more outfits and stuff for my baby. The baby’s nursery is Winnie the Pooh Theme.

My husband has been gone for 4 days. I've had my 7 children 4 days straight with no breaks. When he walks in the door tonight I'm signing out for the rest of the weekend!!!! I'm handing him the baby and going straight to bed! I'm not cooking! I am no one's mother this weekend! I AM UNAVAILABLE! I told him to grab stuff for grilled cheese sandwiches. Why because they can do it themselves! Shabbat Shalom ladies!

It's mothers day this weekend. So I thought how important it is that our bodies need time to bounce back to normal and it doesn't happen instantly even though we wish it did. Post your picture and how much postpartum and what you're proud of! Pass it on. I'm 3 months postpartum and a proud first time mother!

So everyone I've been having a very hard time because my best friend's baby shower is this weekend and so it's Mother's Day I lost my twin boys in February I should be able to be planning my baby shower it's been very hard and can use someone to talk to me

I am so sorry to hear this. I understand how difficult it can be after losing a baby or babies and watching others have their happy endings. I too am finding myself being angry with the world after my miscarriage and watching my friends have happy healthy pregnancy afterwards. Just know your are not alone and you have a lot of support from the other ladies on this site.
