Pregnancy can bring about physical and emotional changes, and having a network of supportive individuals can provide you with comfort and assistance.
Navigating the Workplace and Planning Ahead 📅
If you're employed, informing your employer and colleagues about your pregnancy is crucial for various reasons.
Firstly, it ensures that your workplace can make necessary accommodations to ensure your health and safety.
It also allows your employer to plan for your maternity leave and make appropriate arrangements to ensure the smooth operation of your work responsibilities during your absence.
By sharing your pregnancy at work, you may also benefit from legal protections provided to pregnant employees, such as maternity leave entitlements and accommodations.
Seeking Emotional and Medical Support 🏥

Sharing your pregnancy with healthcare professionals and support groups also allows you to tap into a wealth of knowledge and resources.
From prenatal classes and educational materials to connecting with other expectant parents, accessing these resources can provide you with valuable information and emotional support as you navigate the various stages of pregnancy.
Maintaining Boundaries and Ensuring Personal Comfort 🚫

First thing first. It's so good you have a diagnosis and now can do the best you can for you and baby. Your doctor should be setting you up with a nutritionist to assist you in managing GD. You've got this! Listen to your healthcare providers and seek valid channels of learning to manage diabetes for u and the baby. ❤️

Hey there 💜 I don't have any experience having it but I work in a clinic and a cat was recently diagnosed with it. I'm trying not to worry about it 😅 I was wondering if there was an update on your outcome or what your symptoms were. Thank you in advance 💜 and congratulations on your baby 💙💚

I guess they say save the best for last and it has truly been a pleasure getting to know y'all and sharing you guy's experience and pregnancy as well. Til the end I will be here sharing my beautiful mommy life/ journey 🧸💙

Hi everyone, tonight I wanted to take time to reflect on my pregnancy journey that had ended Friday, I never thought in a million years that I would be sharing such a news. I have just lost my 7 months pregnancy, my son Damion has not seen the light of day, nor have I seen his beautiful eyes, I have longed to meet him and was looking forward to meeting him and so does my other kids. I am heartbroken and just out of it for the moment. As I am on road to recovery, I wish everyone a safe delivery and joyful moments with your little ones.

First pregnancy here. I'm worried how pregnancy/labor will affect my back since I have scoliosis. I already live with light back pain as a norm (I do see a chiropractor regularly to hlep) but now that I'm pregnant I scared how this will progress.

I had a T5-L3 spinal fusion for scoliosis back in 2011 and I’m terrified. My ob says they’re going to have me meet with an anesthesiologist at the beginning of my 3rd trimester so they can have everything prepared for labor. I’m not sure if your ob has mentioned that to you but you might want to bring it up if they haven’t.

I have a double curve with both a thoracic and lumbar curve but haven't needed surgery. I haven't had my first appointment yet as I'm only 6 weeks and they wanted to wait till I was 8 weeks to see me.

Things have been hectic. I can't sleep, I got an awful haircut and had to shave my head, my bd cut me off a week ago without warning, and I'm just so depressed and worried that my depression could affect my pregnancy.

I pray your circumstances will change for the better . Your baby already feels all your emotions. Right now is a vital part of getting enough rest and nutrients. 💕 God bless you.

Idk how women do it. Mothers. Especially first time mothers. This is a LOT. I find myself having mood swings, & just crying out of no where. To be HONEST, I’m not happy right now in my personal life with certain things, but I don’t want my emotions or hurt or negative energy to affect my pregnancy or the child when they’re actually a newborn. I’ve heard a few tales about such.
