Couple problems after birth

Going from being a couple to being parents is not easy. So, how do you maintain a harmonious relationship with your partner after the arrival of your baby?

  • After giving birth and at the beginning of family life, certain concerns may arise and interfere with your relationship.
  • The main issues of friction, whether they are trivial or more serious, generally hiding fears, a feeling of rejection, or a lack of support.
  • Don't be afraid to talk about your feelings and concerns about the future, and share your hopes and expectations with your partner.
  • Invite them to do the same!

Wrist/Thumb pain! Any one else experiencing discomfort in their wrist? It’s been a couple weeks and I’m getting nervous that it’ll last after birth…

Do you use your perineal bottle a lot? You definitely want to make sure you keep the area clean

Anyone else struggle with fetal growth restriction? High risk doc said if the problem continues, I have to be induced at 37 weeks. Does this mean baby has to stay in hospital after birth?

It definitely did for me. If you have an epidural- they stop it before the afterbirth 🥺

I have a couple questions for moms who’ve given birth recently, I’ve been watching birth blogs and raw birth videos and there’s like 1,000 things I’m not comfortable with that the nurses/doctors do. Is there anything that you guys didn’t allow for after birth for your baby.

I agree with the above comment.#1 I never allowed them to take my baby out of the room, every test or shot given was done in my presence. #2 I pushed when I felt the urge & not just when they say/ because of this my labors we're fast. #3 I refused a catheter as I could just go to the restroom #4 I requested a wireless monitor on my belly so I could walk around #5 I asked for no tools to be used unless absolutely necessary and finally I ate & drank as I wanted. They will starve you if you let them until after birth but I found the extra energy was helpful

the major things i didnt allow was 1.my baby boy never left my sight 2. dont move the bassinet away from my reach. i had csection so sometimes i couldnt get out of my bed but if i could reach bassinet i can hold him. 1 nurse moved it to check my vitals and iv and put brake on it while i was sleep. i couldnt get to him i was in tears. i screamed so loud ten nurses and my dr came i flipped out.then my dr made sure no one moved it again the whole 7 days.

Hi mums, did your couple have some problems after you gave birth? Especially because of the lack of cuddles because of not having time or being too tired... How did you cope with it to get back to a couple life with baby?
