Newborn is 5-8 ponds and 0-3 months is typically 8-12.5 pounds. Maybe you can use that as a guide to help you decide.

Looking thru all my babies clothes again and realized I only have a couple newborn clothes items and everything else is 0-3 months and up 🥺 foolish shopping. Now I need to go on another shopping spree for all newborn clothes.
