What does it mean to be a good father?
Your companion is as happy as he is stressed at the idea of taking on the role of dad? If it's normal to have certain fears, here's something to reassure him.
- A good father is present at his child's side to create a special bond and share moments of complicity: cuddling, giving baths...
- He reassures, protects and comforts him while helping him to become independent.
- He sets limits and prohibitions in a positive way.
- If your companion has these qualities, he will take care of your child like a boss!

I’m so grateful for my husband he’s a damn good man and a father I’m still inlove with him like it was the first day we met I’m so blessed god bless me with one of the good ones cause it’s some messy men out here!

Yessssss I felt this. Thank God for that. I feel so sorry for some of the mother's on here. Going thru it with these no good guys& some still staying. It's sad 😥 Been married to mines 11 years coming up this September🙌 it feels like day one I was 24 wow

My baby father has a bond hearing Friday praying for some good freaking news and his birthday is the next day I just hope they let him out to spend time with him son that would be amazing and a good birthday gift 💙god plz take this one for me

my babies father is such a good dad, and he's trying so hard ..but she goes to sleep better with me, & when he does it she fusses for awhile :( but i don't want to hurt his feelings

Let him have more practice with putting her to sleep. My son who is 4 years old and my daughter who is 3 weeks both go to sleep better with me than for their Dad. But my husband is usually always in a rush to get them to fall asleep with makes it more of a challenge for him. Before our son he was never really around babies so he didn’t know as many tricks to help them fall asleep without much of a fuss. Or know their cues on certain things like when they are gassy, hungry, teething etc. the more practice he got with our son the easier it became to put him down. Now that he’s almost 4 he goes down great for him but is a hassle for me because he wants me to be in his room to keep him safe from anything and everything

He’s absolutely correct more people should do it, I started at 14 weeks when I found out my baby gender so now he has so much stufff he set until he’s six months! #nobabyshower
