I don't have any idea or clue what contractions feel like.... (FTM) I would know when it happens right? Also, do I pack fuzzy blanket for the baby or just swaddling cloth (have 0 knowledge how to swaddle)

Which swaddling blanket to choose?

Anybody dealing with there newborn having a low body temp?My 4 day old had to be monitored today for low body temp 96.9 then 96.2.They let him go home with his temp 97.2 said 97 was good.Follow up appointment in 3 days.What ways do you keep temp up besides swaddling and using a blanket and do you check it through out the day.

Mine did. He was 4 weeks early tho. Had a bunch of fluid stuck in him. I monitor his temp at home and since we have been home (2 weeks now) his normal is 98.4.

Oh but yes first 2 days I swaddled and kept a heating pad on low around him just not touching him.

Since I left the hospital I don’t think my son likes his arms swaddled inside the blanket 🤦🏾♀️🥴😆.. It’s like he be fighting the blanket and grunting until his hands come out! Lol. And he’s growing so fast! He gained 9 oz in 4 days!🥳Momma baby boy growing fast!

My daughter was the same way. Fought until her hands were near her face and out and she was good. It’s how we ended up with a Love to Dream sleep sack. She sleeps so well with it

Anyone else having trouble keeping baby in bassinet I highly recommend swaddling! It's helped tremendously!!

So my bby is a month old and I tried swaddling him but all he do is BREAK OUT OF IT. Lord he's growing up🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️He just not having it anymore😅🤣

The only time my son was ever swaddled was when we were in the hospital. The day we came home he said f that and broke out of it every time. We quickly realized he HATED his hands tucked and they had to be out it he would be screaming

Do you believe swaddling newborns is beneficial? Please give your opinion or your own experience with swaddling, Iv’e had many conflicting views on it and now i’m not sure if i do or don’t want to swaddle my baby. 😅

A baby feels more secure and it’s like a comfort thing because there in you for nine months. I work at a daycare/preschool and in our infant room when we swat all the babies it makes a heckuva difference and I swaddled both of my daughters until they can roll over and then I made sure their arms were out so they can roll her self back over

Is it ok that I stopped swaddling my 1 month old? my baby breaks out of swaddling since 2 weeks old.!she has a personal fan even if I manage to get her in an unbreakable swaddle or use the swaddle wraps she hates it
