Symptoms of baby colic

When your baby cries, it is not always easy to detect hunger, fear, pain… Speaking of which, can you recognize when your baby is suffering from baby colic? The symptoms are, theoretically, rather easy to recognize.

  • Your baby cries a lot.
  • They get red.
  • The baby is restless and grumpy.
  • Babies with colic often fold their legs over the tummy and can't seem to find a position in which they are comfortable.
  • They have a lot of gas.
  • If your baby has all of these symptoms, chances are they are suffering from baby colic. Call your pediatrician for a check-up, they will be able to give you some good advice on how to get your baby better as soon as possible.

I use gripe water. I never knew there were colic drops. I’ll have to look into it

Baby girl has a slight case of baby acne mostly on her right cheek. She also has been having colic going on. She will be the big 5 weeks tomorrow though 🥹🩷

I think my baby has colic. Anyone have experience with this. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t driving me nuts but I know it’s not his fault and I love him regardless but it definitely gets me overstimulated at times and where I need to leave the room for a minute because of his crying😭 I hate it. It makes me feel like a bad mom.

All 5 of my kids had colic. I wear the babies, used gripe water and mylicon drops.

All babies cry a lot in the beginning. It's the only form of communication they have. Don't feel bad. Your not a bad mom. I'm dealing with it too with my two week old daughter. I'm a single mom too. Allanah's dad passed away in April. ❤️❤️

My baby does sometimes. Does he get sick when he does eat? My daughter gets sick almost everytime she eats if she is latched to me but not all the time if I feed her with a bottle. I think she has bad acid reflux like me and my mom. Right before she gets sick she normally hiccups then burps then gets sick. But sometimes she makes this sound before or after getting sick almost like she's choking on it.

Sometimes but not always. Sometimes he has hiccups but it’s kinda rare for him to get them.

Helpppp, What do you guys use for your baby’s gas/colic? My sons crying is definitely telling me he’s in pain but nothing is working, I tried the mylicon but it’s not helping 🥺🥺
