How do you know if your baby is colicky?

Your baby cries a lot, and seems more agitated than usual… So, you're wondering how to tell if your baby is colicky. Here are a few signs that may help:

  • Your baby starts to get restless at the end of the day.
  • They cry and seem inconsolable.
  • They have a lot of gas.
  • Your baby pulls their little legs up over the belly.
  • The Baby is tense, with clenched fists and a red face.
  • If you recognize these symptoms, there's a good chance your baby is suffering from colic.
  • Don't wait anymore and make an appointment with your pediatrician as soon as possible.

Okay I’m trying to get my milk supply back up. I use to be able to pump 9 ounces all together now when I pump I’m lucky to get 4. I’m going to the store later to try lactation snacks. I’m trying to pump more but it’s so hard with a colicky baby at the moment. I don’t want to supplement with formula anymore because my baby has been super constipated to the point she screams in pain and I can hear her belly bubbling. Her pediatrician told me to try to cut back on formula. So I need to figure out how to get my supply back up 😩 this would be so much easier if she would just latch 😭😭😭 any advice anyone can give me?

I bought lactation vitamins in target. I had a C-Section and I'm only 1 week post partum but I haven't been able to pump more than 1 oz. I'm gonna keep pumping until I get the amount I want. Drink lots of water and coconut water. It helps.

Trust your gut instinct with your babies! You know your kids better than anyone else does. My baby was puking, gassy, and colicky and his doctor said just feed him less and he’s probably just a gassy baby.. it didn’t feel right to me and so I switched his formula to Enfamil gentle ease and now he’s not puking and he’s sleeping better 💕💕

He may have a milk allergy. You might have to try soy based. That’s what I had to do with my boy he’s muchhhh better

A swaddle bath should really help! Also rub babies tummy, and try feeding more up right!

Put the baby’s tummy against you; the warmth helps. Try warm bath (rag with warm water on tummy), warm corn tortilla also helps (Mexican things that helped with my son) 😂

You can buy a soothing fan , on Amazon , or put the baby in the carseat and run the dryer or washer , ❣️ my daughter was colicky for the first months , now she almost 6 months and a happy baby , I'm sorry love it gets better ❣️
