Hey y’all, have a question. Do you think it’s important to use ovulation test strips to tell when I’m ovulating. Or can I rely on a period tracker app like Flo or Femia to tell me when I’m ovulating. As long as I put the correct dates of my period in?

I been using Flo. I feel like it’s easier.

I would use strips because not everyone ovulates on day 14 after their period. Personally I found after I got pregnant that I ovulate later in my cycle which I would’ve never known since an app just calculates it based on day 14 after your period

Based on last period, I’m 7wks 6 days but sonogram says 6wks 4 days. Has this happened to you? All normal?

The sonogram days are the correct days they can see exactly when your baby will be due

It all depends on exactly when you ovulated and your lmp can be up to like two weeks later than your actual timing

is anyone experiencing little to no discharge? i have pcos & my progesterone levels aren’t as normal as they should be (as far as i know) so i’m not sure if i’m producing enough pregnancy hormones based on having hardly any discharge. 🤨

It’s come and gone for me but mostly no discharge my entire pregnancy. No pcos or progesterone situation over here so it must just be something that varies from woman to woman. Try not to worry too much 🥰 🤗

If you feel like it’s something more than just discharge just go get checked to be sure . They can test you with these little strips that tell them if it’s your water .

Discharge usually isn’t clear, you should get checked asap. I was leaking amniotic fluid when I was pregnant with my son and I didn’t know it.

Hi Ladies. Based on my last period, i'm farther along compared to what my Dr said after having an ultrasound. How do you calculate your weeks? And which is more accurate to calculate your due date? Do you go by your Last menstrual or by your first Ultrasound?

my doctor’s final due date for me was based off my last period , but going off my ultrasound it’s only 2 days before the due date we finalized . at the end of the day it’s really just up to the baby he said 😂

You typically ovulate about 14 days after the first day of your period. Everyone is different and it can be off for different women. The typical timeline for a 28 day cycle: CD1 = Day your Period starts CD14 = Ovulation CD28 = Last Day of cycle/ period should start *again this is the average timeline and not set in stone/ everyone is different Get ovulation strips and start testing the day after your period stops. When the first/ test line is as dark or darker than the second/ control line it indicates positive and you will ovulate within 12-36 hours. You should BD that day and the next 2 days!

Hey y’all so I went to my first appointment today and based on my period I’m 6 weeks 5 days. Well when they went to do the vaginal ultrasound they couldn’t get a heart beat. She said it’s just too early to see it. Is this normal?

Well it's really small at the point so that's more likely the reason it didn't pick up the heartbeat when I went to my first appointment I was 6 weeks in some days and they told me the same thing at first because they couldn't find it right off everything is going to be okay love no need to worry

If the vaginal discharge is green or yellowish, strong-smelling, and/or accompanied by redness or itching, you may have a vaginal infection. One of the most common vaginal infections during pregnancy is candidiasis, also known as a yeast infection. Another cause of abnormal discharge could also be an STD.
