Should I be waking my newborn every 2-3 hours for feedings or let them sleep straight through and for how long is the limit?

as long as they are gaining weight and healthy u can let them sleep through my son started sleeping through the night around 1 month but ate a lot during the day

My milk came in yesterday and I went from pumping 15 min cuz of the pain and now I’m pumping for 30 min each. Mine are hard but I can only get 1 oz per breast.

I used a warm shower to help my milk I hand massaged and pumped when I got out it helped from getting uncomfortable and also I think it helped with my supply

How many months until baby usually grows out of newborn diapers into size 1? I'm trying to figure out how many newborn diapers I should ask for on my registry before asking for size 1. I've asked for 2 size newborn 130packs is that enough to get me thru before asking for size 1?

People told me in my family not to get newborn diapers cuz they run small and you don’t know how small or big ur baby will be I personally didn’t put none on my registry yet until he is born but it’s up to you girly I never had kids it’s just I’ve got told not to buy the newborn diapers and Iam waiting until he is born to get me some diapers so ik how big he is going to be.

I don’t think the hospital I’m delivering at offers what they use to call “hospital photos” anymore since covid hit🥲 everyone I know who’s delivered there, said they don’t offer it anymore & you have to get your own person to come do them

So I'm going through all my son's clothes preparing for him to come in less than 8 weeks. How long do they stay in newborn? And any ideas of stuff I may need and haven't thought of. He's our first and I want to be 100% ready! #firsttimemommy

They don't last long in newborn you might wanna get 0-3 months and than 3-6 months than 6-9 months only bc you wanna be prepared babies grow very fast just a suggestion I have 4 children and another one on the say right now that's how I shopped you can also buy them sizes now and a little later like the 0-3 &3-6 months now so you'll have it when your baby starts to grown instead of going out to get it while their in that size and don't have it if you follow what I'm saying

It all depends on the baby. My daughter only lasted 2ish months. My boys both lasted a lot longer. My youngest was the most because he came out 5lbs and change and was swimming in NB so i actually had to buy him preemie clothes thay he wore for a good 2 months before he made it into NB

So how long should wake times be for a week old newborn? Cause baby girl don't even try to wake up lmao she will wake up for a diaper change, which she doesn't enjoy, and to be fed.

Every 2 to 3 hours! And same with my baby boy at the hospital they would force me to wake him up to feed but he wouldn't like to be woken up now he wakes me up and looking at the clock it's at the time it typically should be 2 to 3 hours!

2 weeks postpartum and I finally got to relax and take a good long bath today, not a quick shower but a good bath it is so hard to do with a newborn 🤣🤦🏿♀️😩
