Hey moms! I recently found out I am 5 weeks pregnant! This is my first pregnancy and I want to do everything I can to keep baby safe. I consulted with a friend who has been through both miscarriages and full term pregnancy; she expressed to me to avoid bending over and try not to sit too long. It’s been overwhelming on what to do and what not to do and my appointment with my obgyn is not for another couple days. Any advice ? 🩷

You can sit for however long you want as well as bend over, only if you’re not too far out with a full belly when it comes to bending over…don’t think too much into it, everyone’s pregnancy is different, ask all the questions you need at your ob appointment

Thank you Brianna!! I was definitely paranoid hearing everything she was telling me. I sit all day at work so I was panicked all day today.

I would say try not to stress too much about it and overwhelm yourself more than necessary. At the end of the day miscarriages could happen for a number of reasons usually none to really pin point as they just happen sometimes without our control. Try to focus on the more exciting things and live life as you normally would unless doctor states otherwise (within reason obviously). Congratulations!!

Women ask me what do I use to avoid stretch marks. I use honest rock the bump body butter. I love how it feels when I apply it. Second time around and do not see stretch marks 🥰🙏🏽 #babybump #stretchmarks #baby #babygirl #belly #bump

Perineal massages are good for tearing, make sure they lube you well for labor and push only when it's time

How do y’all work ?! 😩 especially in the first trimester , so much nausea and vomiting. I keep having to leave work early or call out . I’m missing so much work. It’s so hard.

My doctor called me yesterday and told me my thyroid count was low does anyone know what that means and what should I avoid to continue with a healthy pregnancy I’m almost 13 weeks pregnant as of tomorrow and I’ve had two miscarriages in the last two years and lost a baby do to premature labor in 2020 so every little thing scares me

Your TSH was low? Look into hyperthyroidism and foods to improve it like eggs etc. I have hypothyroidism and it contributed to a few miscarriages for me so I watch mine very carefully now

6 weeks pregant have had multiple miscarriages due to my blood clot disorder. My hcg levels are rising but not as high as I would like. Have some minor bleeding already been to the er and I know how miscarriages work. I'm on blood thinner shots also everything is just stressing me out to the max :(

they are rising just not doubling I have been light bleeding for like a week now just went to the Dr yesterday still pregant. They are wanting me to stop my blood thinners until I stop bleeding. But my blood attacks my baby and I'm required to take shots. So it's risky 😬😔

Tough situation. I’m not too familiar with such a situation but I hope everything works out in you and the baby’s favor. You could be dealing with implantation bleeding that can last 3-7 days. I’m praying everything is ok.

There is a set for stretch marks. It’s made by Palmers. I used it with my first son because my aunt gave it to me and I didn’t get any stretch marks on my stomach. I should have used it on my boobs too.

How do you sleep with newborn and avoid killing your self staying up all night but worried about chocking , throw up and SIDS?

Lay them on their stomach and put there head to the side worked with my kids only reason why I put my babies on their tummy was because my daughter was born and she would lay on her back even in the hospital and was choking on fluid and she would shake and I would pick her up and she would be fine this lasted for 3 months so then I would just put her on her belly and keep an eye on her same with my son he never had that but just to be cautious

im using formula and it tends to come out during her sleep time at night even if we burp her. and it’s a lot sometimes she drinks 2 oz every 3 to 4 hours and is still biting her hand for more. doctor said everything is normal but SIDS and chocking while i’m sleeping is a true Nightmare

I’m 35 weeks & 3 days, I feel like I catch colds SO easily now! It’s miserable honestly, I don’t know how to avoid it! especially since I work at a daycare with babies😞. I feel so bad because I’m catching these colds from the babies, all I can do is wear a mask to protect myself and the little babies.
