My baby is 5 months almost 6 in couple of days she has a cough it won’t let her sleep she cries and screams, please help I’m a first time mom 😩

Screaming baby: what are the reasons?
Your baby is no longer crying, now she's screaming. It is the screaming that worries parents the most. Is the baby sick? Is she hungry? Is she having a tantrum or teething?
- You should know that up to one year of age, crying and screaming are the only way for babies to express themselves.
- During the first three months, crying can be caused by colic.
- Gestures accompany the crying, and it takes several dozens of minutes for the baby to calm down.
- Sometimes some of the crying happens before the baby falls asleep, so don't worry, the baby is in REM sleep.
- From the third month on, babies learn to call out, irregularly, as if in between cries they were listening for someone to pick them up.
- Angry and protest cries don't appear until the eighth month and can last up to three years.

I hate when my baby cries and I wanna do something to help but My patience is wearing thin and idk how much more crying I can take... how do yall deal??

I don't remember.... The last time I had a baby that cried was 11 yrs ago. My little guy now has only cried 9 times and snuggles usually get him to stop. with my other son, the swing helped... Oh and playing the beetles on YouTube... Lol

I think my baby is spoiled 😩 she will not sleep long unless she’s snuggling with me. And she cries if I put her down 😭

My son does that too, let her cry and sooth herself, I let my son cry too but if it's more than 5 minutes then I would pick baby up.

Every time I leave for work my baby cries for hours. His dad does everything and still nothing calms him down 🤦🏽♀️ I should just quit my job 😩

Anyone Else Baby Cries & Cries When They Drinking Formula But Soon As You Give Them 2 To 3 Oz Of Breastmilk They Quiet Down As If Nothing Wrong. He Been Doing This For A Few Days Now.. Ps. We Have An Appointment Tuesday

Do u have something with your scent on it ? If so place it next to them or wrap around them so they can think u there all the time
