What can be done to ease baby's colic?

Your baby is prone to colic, and you feel helpless when you see them suffer. Here are some tips to help release baby colic:

  • Create a soothing environment to encourage a calmer state.
  • Give them a clockwise belly massage.
  • You can apply warm sweet almond oil to your baby's belly.
  • Consider putting a lukewarm hot water bottle on the belly to soothe the pain.
  • Give them small servings of milk and make sure they don't swallow too much air.
  • Your baby will also appreciate a warm bath.

I think my 2.5 week old might have colic, do any moms who do have a colicky baby have any advice or any major pointers that made their colic known? First time mom and can’t fully decipher what is normal cryinh, purple crying, and colic , our 2 week check up for her is when she’s 4 weeks because of availability so I haven’t brought it up yet to doctor just trying to manage and my partner goes back to work when she’s two months old.

So my baby girl is 4 weeks old and she has been having colic so bad. What are you ladies using or have used for bad colic. Any suggestions or home remedies out there to help my poor baby out?

My baby is 2m old idk if it would help your little one too but I put a warm rice bag or even cloth on his little tummy and did bicycle with his legs! It calmed him down a lot and he fell asleep also rub tummy in circular motion 🤍

Lay him on your arm tummy down with your elbow by his face and your hand between his legs so your arm rests on his belly and very slowly and gently rocking back and forth should help relieve some of the pressure also keep your energy low and calm remember it's okay that he's crying you don't want to have stress or you'll cause him to have more stress. My grandpa used to do this with me and could get me to sleep in 10 mins his trick was don't stress about the crying just be there for them. You got this!👍
