Which sheets for the baby's bed?

During the first few weeks of life, the baby will spend most of their time sleeping, which is why it is important to choose his sheets carefully.

  • Since a sleeping bag is to be preferred for safety reasons during the first months, only the fitted sheet is an essential.
  • It will protect the mattress while ensuring the baby's comfort.
  • To avoid any risk of staining in case of milk spillage or leakage from the diaper, don't hesitate to invest in a mattress protector, to be installed under the fitted sheet.
  • Flat sheets and pillowcases will come later, when the baby is older!

So I know I’m not supposed to have loose bedding or anything like that, but does it count if I tuck a blanket super tight like a sheet?? Underneath looks so uncomfy and I’m not sure if this is alright or a sids risk

The blanket will not cause SIDS. But j I would leave it without the blanket.

So I'm curious... i have a king size bed an last night i put this in our bed with baby in it an she slept fine cause apparently she dont wanna sleep no where else unless it near me or on top of me an being on top of me even though im a light sleeper scares me. I was told it was okay to have this in the bed by some ppl an others say is super unsafe along with every other way. So pretty much if my baby isnt sleeping on a board with a sheet an no blankets etc it unsafe. No matter what you google everyway is unsafe. My girl hates swaddling. She hates her bassinet or layin on hard surface. I hear some babies hate laying flat due to reflux etc idk what else i can do

So do what’s best for you that’s number 1. But I have that for my bed as well especially when me & my family goes to other family house he sleeps in that while me & my man sleep right beside him. Or he sleeps in the same bed as us I just give him a lot of room. A lot of moms co sleep don’t let them fool you! But just try to get her use to her bassinet. Cause my son will do all 3. His bassinet, co sleep & that ^ in the picture.

You can try to let her sleep on you for a few so she’s in a deep sleep then transfer her to her bassinet it works for me sometimes just make sure they are in a deep sleep.
