Take your vitamins, drink lots of water, eat healthy, if you smoke try to limit it or quit, rest a lot... If you're a super active person, stay active but make sure you rest too. Keep your stress low. Don't stress, I know it's hard but everything happens for a reason and everything that's meant to happen will. Maybe the last baby wasn't ready... And it's ready now. ❤️❤️ You got this girl. I know for me I went and paid got an hcg beta test just to see the numbers are where they should be and there's nothing else I can do besides try to be healthy for the baby. I'm praying for you queen, you got this! ❤️❤️❤️

I have my 10 week appointment tomorrow. How many of you did genetic testing? Thoughts? Feelings? We are going to do it, but I am worried my tests will bring bad news. Had a miscarriage last year, and I am constantly worried something is going to go wrong.

I don't think I'm going to do it, but that's because I don't have genetic risks in my family so I don't see why I need to screen.

I had the test done with my daughter. It’s a lot of blood taken but I personally feel it’s just good to know ahead of time. We had two miscarriages last year 6 months apart so I get the worrying about something going wrong. I am 9 weeks along with our rainbow baby and found out at 3 weeks. I check everytime I wipe and freak if I feel good in the AM. We are going for the test the 23rd and to be honest I just want to be sure the dark cloud is gone. I am also very worried what this will all bring

I lost my baby at 10 weeks 4 days. Went to my ultrasound appointment and we could no longer find my baby heartbeat. This is so heartbreaking, my 3rd miscarriage this year. I’m numb at this point and just don’t know what to do. I want to try again but I don’t know if I can handle another disappointment.

I wish I could my ultrasound or at least a doctor visit sooner… I don’t get to know how well my baby is until 10 weeks…. I’m worried how things are progressing and would like to feel less anxious #1sttrimester #worries #anxiety

I felt the same way waiting for my first appointment at 10 weeks as well. It's so hard, but it will be here before you know it! I'm anxious again for my next ultrasound that's tomorrow... I don't know if that anxious feeling will ever go away 😅 I just try my best to think positive!

Ladies over 35yrs old and I am 10 weeks are you guys having more frequent appts with ultrasounds included or is that just my doc? Trying to see if I need to be concerned or if this is standard.

Most doctors will make you come in weekly or sometimes twice a week after 34 weeks because babies like to start dilating around 35-37 weeks. If they have not told you anything that you should worry about then I would just assume that they are prepping for when baby starts to come.

Oh… sorry. I had a friend who got pregnant at 36 and she had more frequent appointments. With her first child at 28 she would go in once a month but with her second and final baby at 36 she would go in about 2-3 times monthly. It could just be an age thing, because after 30 women are considered more high risk during pregnancy and it gets even worse after 40. But like I said unless the doctor is telling you stuff to make you worry, I wouldn’t worry too much. If you are getting worried though you could always ask your doctor if there is anything you should worry about or ask them why they want to see you more often.

I graduated from my fertility clinic to the OB. Tomorrow is my first appointment and I'm 10 weeks. Do you know if they will do an ultrasound at your first appointment? How many had one at their first ob appointment? My wife wants to come if they do but I don't want to be disappointed.

I guess it depends on your OB..,. This is my 4th pregnancy and I have always had an ultrasound at my first appointment to make sure 1. One you are really pregnant and there is an active baby 2. Make sure the baby implanted correctly in your uterus 3. To make sure it’s not an ectopic pregnancy 4. I also got check for potential reasons why I would bleed in early pregnancy ( blood clots and blood around my yok sac) This is just my experience though

It can’t hurt to bring her regardless sometimes the first visit you’ll go over a lot of different things with the doctor. But it depends on the office. My first visit i was only 6ish weeks and they scheduled my ultrasound for a week later at 7w3d. (Which was early but ive miscarried before) Considering you’re under different circumstances I feel they might do one to make sure everything is going well with the pregnancy. I’ve heard of anywhere between 8-12 weeks for the first ultrasound. But if anything and u have time before the visit try and call to see if they have u in for an ultrasound.
