You should wait about a week or two before testing. Maybe even a little longer. Cuz it takes a while for old hcg hormones to fully leave after birth. And if you get a positive in 2-3 weeks then it’s probably a new pregnancy

How long did you wait to have sex and how was your tearing I am 12 days postpartum and I was wondering after the month if I can have sex if my stitches healed my daughter only tore inside my vagina

If you can’t wait till a missed period, then you can test 6 days before your period is suppose to start. The closer you test to your period the better outcome
