Ok I’m 7 weeks and I’m sorry if this is TMI but can anyone give me advice on sex during pregnancy? I had sex a few days ago and I had light spotting afterwards. Is that normal? Am I hurting my baby? Is having sex this early safe? Can this cause a miscarriage? I don’t want to lose my sex drive but pregnancy has scared me away from it.

Has anyone had issues with bleeding during/after sex around the 6 week mark? I went to the ER and they diagnosed threatened miscarriage but said my cervix is still closed and hcg levels looked good.

So I had a miscarriage last year and they think it's because my cervix was open. So I am pregnant again and Due January 2024. So my Dr. for this new pregnancy has me on a Progesterone 200mg vaginal pill and ultrasound every 2 weeks just so that we don't have the same issues as last years miscarriage. Has anyone gone through this after a miscarriage from posdible cervix being open ? ? Or used this drug or gone through what I have done. And had a full term pregnancy?

Do OB normally check your cervix during the last few weeks of pregnancy or they wait close to your due date?

I had my cervix examination yesterday at 36 weeks of pregnancy to check cervix dilation. Is it common to have pain during that ? Did anyone feel pain?

Dilation is the process by which the cervix opens during childbirth. The cervix is the lower part of the uterus, where it opens to the vagina. During labor, contractions cause the cervix to change from being closed to fully dilated or open to 10 centimeters. Once that happens, it's time to begin pushing. In case anyone was wondering how the heck you would get a baby out of your little hole!
